New York School of Arts (NYSA) is a premier art education institute, founded in 2009 by passionate artists and educators. NYSA expanded to the Washington D.C. area in February 2019 as a part of our merger with Open Art Studio in Fairfax, Virginia.
We are an educational institution focused on fostering individual talent and helping artists create their unique identity, while learning to appreciate art and design along the way.
NYSA instructors are active professors teaching at some of the most prestigious art schools in the nation. Our instructors discover talent and help students develop their potential, guiding them every step of the way in completing original and innovative pieces.
NYSA uses verified teaching methods to assist talented artists in paving the way for the future of art education, as art is more important and influential now than ever.
